EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES

Whether swimming in the hotel’s own swimming pool or in the Baltic Sea on the 1.5 km long private beach, tennis, beach volleyball, cycling or hiking – on Rügen “ACTIVE” is capitalized. Sporty guests appreciate the Cliff Hotel Rügen not only for its 25-meter swimming pool and fitness room. Near the Baltic Sea, semi-shaded under tall pine trees, there is a newly built artificial turf tennis court and a boules court with a sea view.

Indoor sports enthusiasts will find two Spellmann bowling alleys, table tennis and a foosball table at the Cliff Hotel Rügen. On the Cliff bicycles (with children’s trailer) and our new tandem can be explored the surrounding area. The quiet beach area with its promenade is ideal for running and walking. The Cliff sports beach has a beach volleyball court and there is a sailing school about 800 meters away.

Cliff guests can expect regular guided sailing tours. For diving, deep sea fishing, kite surfing and many other sports we can arrange professional partners and organize your sportive day with pleasure. Bowling enthusiasts will be thrilled by the Cliff Hotel Rügen – Resort & SPA with two Spellmann scissor lanes with fluted running surfaces made of copper beech wood. For the combination of sport and pleasure we recommend the directly adjacent “Hansestube”, where we serve culinary delicacies and sophisticated drinks, paired with warm and uncomplicated hospitality. We also regularly broadcast major sporting events here for “passive athletes”.
